Memorial Packages
Upright Headstones
An upright heastone usually includes a base. They can range in size from very small to enormous. They can be polished or rough, tall or wide, thick or thin, simple or intricate and can incorporate elaborate designs and carvings. In this category is the most diverse range of pricing, and it is very hard to give exact prices till we narrow down the choices but here are some indications to get you started.
Classic
A basic classic shape adult upright headstone installed in a council cemetery is approximately $5000
Custom
We can design customised memorials incorporating your ideas and culture. Usually $7000+
Extra Large
Council cemeteries usually have size restrictions. Going to the limits on height usually means a cost about $9000
Carvings
Stone carved into statues is incredibly beautiful and special. Cost is often $10000+
Burial Plaques
In most lawn cemeteries you have the choice of either a granite plaque (raised slightly on concrete) or a recumbent desk (wedge of granite) A3 size, Some cemeteries allow for a base and vase blocks to be included. Here are some indicative prices.
Classic
Plaques are standard rectangles and range from $1200 - $2000
Custom
Where cemetery restrictions allow, vase blocks and bases can be added to the memorial.
Extra Large
It is possible in some places to do very large Recumbent Desks.
2nd Inscriptions
If you have already had a memorial made adding a second inscription is only a very small charge, $1000 - $2500 depending on size and if it is to be painted or have 23ct Gold leaf.
Removal
Where possible we bring the memorial back to the workshop in order to do a second or additional inscription.
Matching Font
We endevour to make sure the additional inscription matches the previous styles.
Re-polish
There is also often an option to ground down the stone to do the inscription over. This may be particularly useful for couples where a large gap of time exists.
Cremation Memorials
In most lawn cemeteries you have the choice of a small memorial for an ash interment. Usually A4 size or a even smaller garden plaque.

Plaques are standard rectangles and range from $600 - $1500
Custom
Where cemetery restrictions allow, vase blocks and bases can be added to the memorial.
Extra Large
It is possible in some places to do a large Recumbent Desk (A3 size) even for cremations.
Takeaway Headstones
Family Cemeteries or Urupa often are in remote places. We can provide a memorial you can take with you to install. This might mean just a headstone or it could also include a base.
